At the time of booking your credit card will be charged a deposit equal to 50% of your total reservation fee, including taxes.
Hinterwood Cancellation Policy
Your reservation can be cancelled at anytime, but depending on the date of your cancellation in relation to your reservation’s scheduled check-in date, you may be charged a $30 cancellation fee, 20% of your deposit, or be charged for your full reservation with no refund at all. Standard Cancellation Policy
Cancellations 31 Days or More Before Your Scheduled Check-in Date:
Your deposit will be returned to you minus a $30 cancellation fee. This cancellation fee is taken for each cancelled rental in a single reservation.
Cancellations Within 30 Days of Scheduled Check-in Date:
If a reservation is cancelled 30 days or less from the reservation’s check-in date, the customer will be charged for their reservation in full. No refunds will be issued at this time.
Sturgis Rally Cancellation Policy
There is a five-night minimum stay during Sturgis Rally week. The standard 50% deposit rate applies at the time of booking, and the full balance is due on May 1st on the year of your reservation date. The reservation is non-refundable beginning May 1st, on the year of your reservation date. All reservations and cancellations made on or after May 1st of the current year are nonrefundable. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
Over-Crowding Rentals Policy
Each rental at Hinterwood has a set number of people that can stay and occupy the rentals during a stay, as well as the number of vehicles that can be parked at the rental (see list below). Hinterwood does not allow for events or parties, and guests can not stay in RVs, campers, or tents anywhere on the Hinterwood property, if the number of guests in a party surpasses the maximum occupancy of the rental. If this policy is violated there is a fee of $100 per extra person, per night of your reservation, with a minimum fee of $200. We appreciate your cooperation and communication if extra guests or parking is needed.
The Woodsley: Accommodates a maximum of six people with two parking spots.
The Viewhouse: Accommodates a maximum of eight people with three parking spots.
The Dray Cabin: Accommodates a maximum of six people with two parking spots.
The Winsome Cabin: Accommodates a maximum of six people with two parking spots.
The Notch Cabin: Accommodates a maximum of six people with two parking spots.
Property Damages
Hinterwood reserves the right to charge guests to recover the cost of any damage to Hinterwood rental units and/or property. The condition of the property and the rental unit(s) will be assessed for damage on or immediately following a guests stay. Both replacement costs and labor costs will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
Smoking Policy
All of our rental units are non-smoking, so you must smoke outside. It is asked that you use the provided ashtrays or throw cigarette butts in the fire pits, and never throw cigarette butts on ground. Please help us prevent forest fires and safely dispose of all cigarettes. There is a minimum of a $200.00 fee if this policy is violated. Any additional smoke damage or clean up will be charged to your credit card. We appreciate your cooperation!
Adverse Weather Conditions
In the case of inclement weather from snow and ice, if Hinterwood Inn & Cabins is unable to offer power, water, or access to the property by the 4:00 p.m. check-in time, the guest(s) will have the option to receive a refund for that night’s stay. Refunds are not issued for flight delays or cancellations. The weather condition of the rentals and of the property will be accessed on a day-to-day basis.

Your access to and use of Hinterwood Inn and Cabins is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website.
2. LEGAL ADVICE
The contents of Hinterwood Inn and Cabins website do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making, any decision. All material contained on Hinterwood Inn and Cabins is provided without any or warranty of any kind. You use the material on Hinterwood Inn and Cabins at your own discretion.

Hinterwood Inn and Cabins reserves the right to:
3.1 change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the Website or any part of it without notice and you confirm that Hinterwood Inn and Cabins shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal and
3.2 change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and your continued use of the Website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.
