AN OVERVIEW: The Notch Cabin sleeps up to 6 people with two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, and one queen-sized murphy bed in the living room. It has one full size bathroom with a shower (no tub). It includes an apartment size kitchen with a refrigerator, range oven, microwave, coffee pot, and provided dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. Enjoy the privacy of your deck and fire pit, and cook outside on the gas grill.

THE DETAILS
The Notch Cabin is a brand new cabin for Hinterwood and opened June of 2019. The cabin is 600 square feet with large windows, rustic and modern decor, and brand new furnishings. It has two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, and a queen-sized murphy bed in the living room (which uses a real mattress — it’s not like a sofa sleeper!). The cabin is equipped with everything you might need for your stay: dishes, utensils, pots and pans, bedding, etc. The living area has a TV with a DVD player, as well as some DVDs. The TV does not have cable or access to local channels, so guests are encouraged to bring their own DVDs if they or their children plan on watching TV — or enjoy those provided by us in the rental. There is also the option to pre-download entertainment to your devices in advance since streaming is not an option with slower internet speeds. With details that include a built-in log slab booth, exposed beams, modern lighting, pine walls, and a gorgeous wood accent wall, this cabin was lovingly designed and built by the owners themselves.

What’s more, the cabin’s deck faces National Forest (which sits just 60 feet away), which means beautiful views and easy access for hiking. Centrally located to many Black Hills area attractions, the cabin is tucked away in a valley and surrounded by oak trees, aspen trees, pine trees, and the occasional wildlife visit — which will make for a memorable Black Hills getaway!
